The second quarter of 2024 saw varying performance trends among the top 5 sandbox games on the Android platform in Germany. Here’s a closer look at the downloads, revenue, and weekly active user metrics for these games, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Roblox by Roblox Corporation experienced a steady decline in revenue, starting at approximately $346K in early April and dropping to around $261K by the end of June. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 36K in early April before settling around 24K towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users, however, showed a positive trend, increasing from about 2.08M to 2.28M over the same period.

Minecraft Trial from Mojang had a consistent download rate, hovering between 11K and 14K throughout the quarter. Its weekly active users remained stable, with minor fluctuations around the 140K mark, peaking at 144K at the end of June.

Block Craft 3D：Building Game by Wildlife Studios saw a significant drop in downloads in April, from 16K to as low as 5K, before recovering slightly to 8K by the end of June. Revenue followed a similar pattern, starting at around $286 and ending at $170. Weekly active users decreased from 111K in early April to 82K by the end of the quarter.

Craft Box Game Tree by Zamiton Dupila had an initial download surge, reaching 16K in mid-April, before declining to 2.8K in early June. Weekly active users saw growth, peaking at 33K at the end of May before settling at 24K by late June.

Melon Sandbox from playducky.com displayed a remarkable increase in both downloads and revenue. Downloads rose from 4.1K in early April to 14K in early June. Revenue started at zero in April and climbed to $615 by the end of June. Weekly active users also increased significantly, from 34K to 51K over the quarter.
